Editorial policy
How listings, news and sponsored content work.
Inclusion is free
Any real business or organization in Franklin Township can be listed at no cost. Payment is never required to appear in the directory.
Facts, not ratings
Franklin Local shows factual information: name, category, contact details, hours and one sourced sentence. We do not publish star ratings or reviews.
Sources
Listing data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors, businesses' own websites and owner or community submissions. Each description credits its source. Spotted a mistake? Use Add / update listing.
Sponsored content
Paid placements are always labeled “Sponsored” or “Advertisement.” Sponsorships never change the order of ordinary listings, which are alphabetical. Sponsored creative is reviewed before it goes live.
News
News items are short summaries that link to their original sources. Drafts, including automated ones, are reviewed by a person before publication. Corrections: hello@franklinlocal.life.
