Veterans who live in Somerset County, and active-duty service members from anywhere, can play a free round of golf on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, the Somerset County Park Commission says. A cart is included.
Two of the four county courses taking part are in Franklin Township:
- Spooky Brook Golf Course, 582 Elizabeth Ave., Somerset: 732-873-2242
- Quail Brook Golf Course, 625 New Brunswick Road, Somerset: 732-560-9199
Neshanic Valley (908-369-8200) and Green Knoll (908-722-1301) are also taking part. Tee times are by reservation through each pro shop, which began taking calls on Nov. 6. Ask what ID to bring when you book.
Thank you to everyone who has served.
